ENTERING THE CIRCUIT

Please expect your luggage to be checked at the entrance. See what items you can take with you and what you should leave at home. Whether it's fan merchandise or food and drink. We don't recommend trying to sneak items past the organisers. If you are found with a prohibited item, it will be confiscated and disposed of. In extreme cases, you may even be banned from entering.

Tickets

• You can only enter the circuit with a valid ticket. All tickets are digital and will be accessible via the Lusail Tickets app closer to the event, including updated venue access details and event information.
• We recommend buying your tickets online. It takes less than two minutes and you’re ready to go. Check out the best prices here, but don't wait too long, some tickets are already sold out! You can choose from seated, general admission, or natural grandstand tickets with no seat reservations.
• Each code is valid for one entry. Do not send your ticket to anyone you do not trust, otherwise they may misuse it. If you leave the circuit for part of the day, be sure to have your ticket re-tagged by security. If you do not do so, you will not be able to return to the circuit on the same day. The ticket is not linked to a specific user. Therefore, more than one person can use the same ticket on the circuit on the same day.

Parking

To optimise your visit to the Lusail International Circuit (LIC), it’s wise to set out early, especially considering the special traffic measures that will be enforced during event days. Anticipate delays due to heavy traffic near the circuit and the parking zones. 

While there is complimentary parking, availability is limited, so to alleviate traffic volume, event-goers are urged to use public transportation or consider carpooling. Those in need of assistance due to mobility impairments can find specially allocated parking spots, ensuring compliance with disability parking permits. 

To navigate to these areas, use Exit 29B and look out for the signs guiding spectators. Bear in mind that access to the LIC directly from Al Khor Coastal Road won’t be possible. To aid in your journey to the parking zones, the Qatar GP app is an invaluable tool. With the app’s Maps feature, you can input your ticket information and it will suggest the best parking routes for you. It’s a practical resource to streamline your experience on the day of the event.

Opening hours of the circuit

In 2023 spectators were able to access the Lusail International Circuit from 2:00 pm on Friday and on Saturday, and from 3:00 pm on Sunday. The venue was closed at 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, while on Sunday, the final race day, it remained open until 11:00 pm. 

As the timetable for 2024 is very similar, we can expect the circuit gates to open at the same times as last year.
